We are looking for a News Reporter to join Global Restructuring Review (GRR) in our London office. GRR is the trusted source of worldwide news, analysis and data for cross-border restructuring and insolvency practitioners, with subscribers in law firms, advisory firms and the wider business community on six continents.
GRR’s editorial team is responsible for a daily news briefing covering cross-border restructuring and insolvency developments in key jurisdictions around the world, and in the professional community for corporate distress. We write about high-profile corporate collapses and systemic risk, from strategic bankruptcy filings by cryptocurrency platforms and pharmaceutical conglomerates to sovereign defaults and global banking crises.

What you would be doing:
Covering court cases, regulatory filings, conferences, law firms and political developments that shape the restructuring and insolvency landscape
Developing sources from law firms, financial advisory firms, companies and investors
Relying on original reporting, you would be producing regular news stories and crafting engaging features
You would also be expected to take on a range of tasks in the newsroom, from high-profile breaking news stories to nuts-and-bolts fact gathering and research.
What we are looking for:
Degree in Journalism, Communications or Law, or equivalent work experience
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to find sharp angles in stories
Self-starter, confident in covering this critical and growing area of law and business
Team-oriented and collaborative outlook in newsrooms
