We have an exciting opportunity to join us as the Content Development Editor at LexisNexis (part of RELX). This is an opportunity to develop within a dynamic role. The role supports the Lexis® Learning team that creates high quality learning resources for our wider client base. The role reports into our Product Manager, Digital Learning.
To be based from Chatswood, Sydney location, this role is permanent part time, 3 days per week working from the office and remotely. You will be someone who is currently studying a degree in Law or have just completed their degree and wants to step into the industry and gain practical exposure within Legal!
Key Responsibilities include:
Administrative assistance to ensure publishing deadlines are met
Providing support to the team for LexisNexis’ learning management platform.
Effective communication with authors and across internal teams to ensure timely publication of online learning resources.
Production support eg. proof-reading and recording
Maintain currency of information in a database
Competently file electronic content.
Communicate effectively with team members and external authors
Willingness to learn new technologies such as virtual learning tools

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Currently completed at least 3rd Year of a Law Degree, PLT study or similar
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Windows, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and the Internet.
High level communication skills, both written and verbal
High organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
Experience in editing, proof reading, document control or authoring tools advantageous.
