About the Role

The Editor will be responsible for the maintenance of print and online products within the tax learning market and will work with editorial and technical departments to provide content for various platforms. You will monitor, track and update the tax learning materials on a daily basis and to strict deadlines. The role also involves working closely with our tax tutors and writers to improve existing content, to add new content and to create new products as required by our clients.

Responsibilities

Overseeing the publishing process of print and online products
Meeting all deadlines and overseeing production of publications in a timely manner
Gathering news and identify relevant official documents regarding events and developments in your field
Reviewing all available analytics of web-based usage of content to help drive content focus
Participating in training and further refinement of new editorial system(s) and workflows

Requirements

Have a Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent work experience
Have great editorial/publishing experience
Knowledge of xml is desirable but not essential
Ability to manage own workload
Be able to build and develop effective working and collaborative relationships
Able to manage multiple projects and priorities at any given time
Demonstrate excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
Be able to direct the resolution of highly complex problems applying advance analytical thought and judgement
Able to exercise judgment and take action with the ability to conform to shifting priorities
Able to use Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
