ENERGY MARKET REPORTER
We are looking for an energy market reporter to join our editorial team in our new offices at the heart of The City, London, covering developments in renewables, natural gas, LNG, electricity and crude oil.
Supported by our editorial and analyst teams, you will break news, assess prices and produce analytical content. You thrive on writing exclusive news and explaining what this means for our readers.
You will contribute to the profile of ICIS by attending and speaking at industry events, engaging with and nurturing key contacts. International travel is encouraged.
You will collaborate closely with other business functions at ICIS and contribute ideas related to new coverage and products, with the aim of expanding the ICIS business and meeting our customer needs.

Your responsibilities:
Covering a portfolio of energy markets in Europe
Writing insightful, compelling news and market analysis, and assessing prices
Building and nurturing an international network of industry contacts
Reporting on complex topics in an engaging and timely manner, including use of data visualisations
Skills and behaviours we look for:

High degree of numerical accuracy
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Fluent written and spoken English. European languages would be an advantage but not necessary
