Hours: 9-5 EST
MUST HAVES:
Microsoft Office Suites
CMS experience (internal system)
Portfolio of samples (preferred)
Finance background (preferred)
Duties:
Editing and proofreading transcripts based on actual conversations
Maintain informality of conversations while improving clarity
Redact personal and identifiable information (e.g., names, employers)
Utilize Word with track changes and paste into the CRM system
Write transcript titles based on content
Ensure proper formatting
Who They Are Looking For:
Responsibilities:
Exercise excellent editorial judgment for high-quality client-generated, client-facing transcripts
Proofread and perform basic copy edits for consistency, accuracy, and clarity based on AP style and in-house style
Anonymize transcripts by redacting personally identifiable information
Redact additional information as required by the compliance team
Create transcript titles following in-house guidelines
Identify key companies discussed and assist in cataloging a digital library of transcripts
Collaborate within a team of digital copy editors to maintain high editorial quality
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, or a related discipline
1+ years of copy editing and/or digital media experience, preferably in business or industry-focused content
Proficiency in AP writing styles and experience with in-house guidelines
Experience in digital media editing or writing, including familiarity with SEO best practices
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office or equivalent suites, CRM and/or CMS systems, and business communication and collaboration platforms
Proven ability to excel in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
Excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a positive attitude
Willingness to complete a transcript editing test upon request
Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
