LHH are representing a financial and professional services public relations agency based in London. Their portfolio of clients include Law Firms, Financial Institutions, Investor Relations firms, Property and Recruitment companies etc.
They are currently recruiting for a Public Relations Account Director to lead their PR team and manage their day to day press and media relations for their extensive client portfolio.
Responsibilities Include
Be main point of contact for clients (primary and secondary); ability to maintain and grow longstanding client relationships
Responsible for creating client communications programmes, ensuring delivery on a timely basis and to the highest quality
Responsible for senior level strategic input regarding communication plan
Input into the creative thinking thought process and include other junior team members
Grow your network of media contacts
Content creation including press releases, op-eds, speeches for public events. Creates, reviews, comments on and adds value to client documentation
Shares experience and knowledge with wider team to help them grow and work to best practices
Encourage and support all new business activities
Manage a team comprised of Account Manager, Senior Account Executive and Account Executive
Experience And Skills Required
4+ years in PR, Marketing & Communications ideally mainly within the Corporate Comms, Professional Services and Financial Services sectors
A confident and skilled communicator who is accomplished at building and maintaining relationships with clients and colleagues
Excellent consultancy skills and analytical mindset
Outstanding writing and presentation skills and keen attention to detail
Ability to create new formats for presentations and understand value-added proposals for clients
Capacity to multi-task, delegate and oversee client work under tight deadlines, calm under pressure
Previous similar level agency experience or experience in a communications role
A commitment to delivering the highest quality in every aspect of the role
