As a Data Journalist at LinkUp, you will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling content that resonates with our target audience and drives engagement. You will work closely with our marketing and overall growth teams to create content that aligns with our brand's voice and values.
Key responsibilities:
Researching and understanding our target audience, industry trends, and relevant topics to develop content ideas.
Writing high-quality, original, and well-researched articles, blog posts, social media content, and other written materials.
Collaborating with the marketing team to develop content strategies that support our overall marketing goals.
Ensuring that all content is accurate, properly sourced, and adheres to our company's style and tone guidelines.
Proofreading and editing content for grammar, clarity, and coherence.
Synthesizing multiple data points and perspectives from a single data source internally and referencing those sources in publications internally and externally.
Developing and projecting a keen understanding of the labor market, the economy, and how they work together.
Optimizing content for SEO to enhance online visibility and organic search rankings.
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and incorporating relevant insights into the content creation process.
Working closely with the broader marketing team to generate compelling data visualizations.
Contributing to brainstorming sessions and idea generation for marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a content writer, copywriter, or related role.
Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong research skills and the ability to translate complex information into clear and concise content.
Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
