Livingetc is the premium glossy title for the design-conscious homeowner. The only homes title to successfully bridge the gap between fashion and interiors, Livingetc is the brand in the shelter space where fashion intersects with interiors, with a focus on trends, color and editor-led content. It inspires style-forward people to create a beautiful, original home.
We're looking for an Ecommerce Editor to write and edit product round-ups. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the incredible team at Livingetc, the world’s biggest modern homes media brand.
What you'll be doing…
As Style Editor, you'll create best-in-class shopping content for Livingetc. This is a digital role and you'll join a market-leading team, writing amazing original content for global audiences. You'll be tasked with being in the know about all the new products from our key retailers. Trend-focused edits and dedicated brand features will be your bread and butter. Working with the Deputy Editor and EIC, you'll ensure Livingetc enjoys maximum visibility in selected category areas by producing exceptional product content, monitoring Google SERP rankings, adapting strategy and reacting to the needs of in-market audiences.
You'll pitch and write brilliant articles, create content at a fast pace while maintaining consistency in tone and values, applying SEO best practice and balancing commercial and editorial KPIs, create social media content and develop franchises that increase ecomm revenue and commercial opportunities and participate in peak trading events, such as Black Friday or Amazon Prime Day. When required, you'll also create commercial content alongside editorial, contribute to partnership pitches and broader brand projects.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…
A digital native, you’ll be a whizz at using CMS systems and have an understanding of deal blocks and widgets. We need you to be able to deliver content quickly and efficiently.
A keen interest in, and understanding of, home products, design trends and how our audience likes to decorate and shop. We don’t necessarily require you to be an expert initially, but you’ll grasp the challenge of becoming one very quickly, and be able to call on design experts for quotes and insight for your pieces.
Exceptional writing skills - from the ability to write snappy headlines and tight grammar control to the ability to choose the right image to draw people in.
Keen interest in SEO and an understanding of analytical tools, which you’ll use to form your content crafting.
You’ll be a natural collaborator who loves being part of a high-performing team. Communication skills are paramount, and the ability to be a team player.
