The Jackson Hole News&Guide, an award-winning weekly newspaper, is seeking a talented, eager reporter to join our team. Who we are: The News&Guide has often been honored as best weekly paper in the country by the National Newspaper Association. We have the largest newsroom in the state. As part of the Teton Media Works locally and family-owned company, the News&Guide staff works in tandem with its sister publication, the Jackson Hole Daily, providing local stories. Articles are also shared with JHNewsAndGuide.com and the Hole Scroll mobile app. Who you are: A recent graduate or experienced reporter looking to build a stellar portfolio. You are a go-getter with a good attitude, ready to jump on any story that comes your way — be it breaking news, sports coverage, features or turning around briefs for print or online. You have excellent writing skills, you pay attention to details in a fast-paced work environment, and you can meet daily and weekly deadlines without fail. You produce clean, clear, accurate copy and have a strong knowledge of AP style. Ideally you’re proficient in the BLOX content management system and Adobe InDesign.
