Ogden Newspapers seeks an experienced editor to lead the Loudoun Times-Mirror in Leesburg, Virginia and also serve as a regional editor one day per week at the Times-Mirror's sister daily, The Frederick News-Post in Frederick, Maryland.

The Times-Mirror is an award-winning weekly newspaper in a vibrant community just outside Washington, D.C. Based in picturesque downtown Leesburg, the Times-Mirror covers Loudoun County, a dynamic and news-filled region that extends from the bustle of the urbanized eastern half, where data centers and Fortune 500 companies hold sway, to the pastoral and historic beauty of the western half, where horse farms abut Civil War sites. In Loudoun County, there is never any lack of great stories.

If you are an experienced, passionate journalist who believes community news matters and small papers can do big things, you may be just the person to lead the staff at the Times-Mirror.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing a news team, leadership qualities that inspire creativity and excellence, a hunger for great stories and a vision for how newspapers must change to serve their communities. He or she will work as an integral part of the team in Frederick, which provides organizational support and backup.
