Work collaboratively within the health team to identify key issues and trends, contributing to investigations and special reports.
Ensure all reporting meets the Mail’s high editorial standards for accuracy, balance, and reader engagement.

Strong news sense and the ability to identify compelling, agenda-setting health stories.

Knowledge of medical research, public health, and the healthcare system is an advantage.
Ability to work flexibly, including some weekends, to cover breaking news.

This is an exciting opportunity to cover one of the most important and fast-growing beats in journalism, with the chance to break exclusives, contribute to investigations, and shape the national conversation on health.
