Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

MailOnline is seeking Social Video Producers to transform the world’s most interesting news and pop culture stories into engaging video content.

Candidates will source, package and publish stories from our fast-paced NYC newsroom, telling impactful stories to millions of people around the world. You will have your finger on the pulse of trending topics that resonate with a broad audience across various social platforms including TikTok and Facebook.

As part of our global team, your insights, creativity, and understanding of trends will shape our approach to social video storytelling. Candidates will have experience growing social communities and a strong grasp of the news agenda. Specialisms in topics including World News, Crime, Politics, Showbiz, Gaming, Beauty and Lifestyle are welcome but not strictly necessary.

Responsibilities:

Source, script, and produce video content for social media platforms.
Write engaging copy to maximize user engagement and retention.
Analyze performance data to refine content strategies.
Collaborate with teams across the company to deliver best-in-class video content.
Stay updated on social media trends and platform updates.

Required Skills & Qualities

Familiarity with Daily Mail’s content on TikTok and Facebook.
Skilled using Adobe Premiere or CapCut, with After Effects as an advantage.
Experience in content creation for social media accounts.
Adept video editor with attention to detail.
Flexibility and adaptability to match the dynamic nature of a busy newsroom environment.

Dailymail.com operates a 24/7 newsroom, and flexibility will be required to work shifts according to the demands of the news cycle.
