Corning’s Brand & Experience team is looking for a Manager, Content and Editorial to help lead its team of content creators, manage story publication, and shape and implement Corning’s content strategy.

The Work You'll Do

Guide our team of content creators in the development and production of insightful, innovative content for Corning
Manage our content calendar and publication process to keep stories flowing smoothly and ensure they reach target audiences
Be an ambassador for – and leader of – of Corning’s editing and publishing processes
Provide editorial oversight, including structural and line-by-line editing, for a variety of content, including content for .com, social, Corning’s employee intranet, and media advisories and press releases
Partner with the Senior Manager, Content & Editorial in the evolution of Corning’s content strategy, brand voice, and messaging
Engage with colleagues across Strategy, Design, Analytics & Measurement, and Internal and External Communications to create content that resonates with our audiences
Stay on top of publishing best practices and help apply them to content creation at Corning

What You Should Bring To The Table

7 or more years of external or in-house agency, communications, editorial, and/or marketing experience, ideally in the writing, content-creation, or content-strategy realm
A love of writing and a passion for conveying new ideas to readers
A track record of rolling up your sleeves and doing work while also guiding and directing others
Breadth and flexibility of voice: humanizing complicated and technical content, and communicating details in clear, consistent, and compelling ways
An understanding of digital channels and an ability to work with emerging platforms
Experience with integrated, cross-channel messaging and campaigns
Excellent client-relationship-building skills
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant tools (e.g, Airtable, Figma)

The range for this position is $105,402.00 - $144,929.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
