Job Description: The managing editor is in charge of the editorial team, and manages freelance writers. They are responsible for ensuring all published written products–emails, courses,

website copy–follows the company style and meets business objectives. The ME is responsible

for executing the promotional cadence and the performance of all editorial products.

Responsibilities:

Produce Daily Dad Newsletters & Articles

Work with our other writers to ensure we have an email to send out each day
Create a weekly publishing cadence for Daily Dad based upon theme or promotional efforts
Schedule daily email blasts in ConvertKit
Post email on DailyDad.com after sending email
Work with in-house and freelance writers to produce articles for DailyDad.com
Copy edit all emails and courses related to Daily Dad

Manage Email Sequences

Ensure sequence emails are up to date within ConvertKit

Manage Internal Promotions

Develop & execute promo cadence for book & product launches
Coordinate assets needed to run promos (photo/video/podcast/social)
