Managing Editor

The Saline Courier, formerly Benton Courier, in Benton, Arkansas, is an award-winning, community-focused news organization that has served its community since 1876. The Saline Courier publishes news online daily and in a printed edition Tuesday through Saturday. Horizon Publications also oversees Arkansas news and production in Malvern, Forrest City, Marianna as well as Starkville and West Point, Mississippi. This position manages a team of multi-media journalists responsible for producing community news for multiple publications and websites for Horizon Arkansas Publications. The Managing Editor is quick to build sources and contacts - vital to gathering verifiable local news. Additionally, the managing editor is a training mentor for the professional reporters who teaches ethical journalism and the importance of a trusted news organization to a community.
