Managing Editor

Due to significant expansion and recent acquisitions, we are now looking for an experienced editor to join our Manchester office to lead the growth of VideoGamer.com, our newly acquired website dedicated to everything gaming & entertainment The Managing editor’s role will be to oversee scheduling, management and production of all content for VideoGamer. The job will require peerless resource management skills in order to ensure that content is delivered on time across the site as well as working closely with our dedicated video and social media teams to ensure brand consistency across all platforms . As well as managing the team of writers and content creators, the editor will be expected to contribute copy where necessary and develop a long-term strategic content plan to meet traffic targets. The editor will also be required to act as the public face of the site, taking part in podcasts and interviews, and maintaining a high standard of work across the site.
