Black tech news and data insights platform, The Plug, is seeking an experienced managing editor with strong editorial sensibility and a background in business or tech news reporting.

The managing editor will be responsible for developing the infrastructure of The Plug’s remote newsroom operations, creating both culture for readers and subscribers, and the editorial and research team supporting content across Tpinsights.com and it’s social media channels.

As leader of The Plug’s news outfit, the Managing Editor will work closely with the CEO to determine existing and new reporting verticals, investigative projects, and data visualization initiatives that go above and beyond any platform’s coverage of Black innovation.
