Role Summary
This role supports the production of daily energy price assessments for the UK and European gas and power markets, as well as helping to write daily and fortnightly market commentary. It will also include contributing to the launch of new green energy editorial products.
The role will support the market data and editorial team with various tasks, including gathering and checking prices from internal sources, formatting reports, and helping to create and maintain a suite of market data products. It will require involvement in all aspects of market data/newsletter production, alongside handling client enquiries.
Purpose of the Role
Helping to produce and distribute a daily energy market newsletter
Supporting the delivery of price reports covering the UK, German and Dutch energy markets (four in total per day)
Producing and checking end-of-day pricing data for a range of energy markets
Contributing to daily and fortnightly reports focused on UK energy prices
Updating energy markets training presentation material
Skills And Experience Required
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong excel, numeracy and literacy skills.
An interest in energy, commodity trading, data-based reporting or any experience covering these markets would be a plus.
