We're currently looking for a Channel Editor to be responsible for News and Purpose Features at Marie Claire UK.

What you'll be doing...

As Channel Editor at Marie Claire UK, you'll build and produce digital content while using best practices for SEO and social media, manage breaking news, oversee the features content journey from pitch to publish - ensuring quality output along the way, and oversee the distribution, editing and publishing of news and features across the site.

You'll also manage the features/digital intern, relay statistics and feedback to wider features team and oversee the calendar database and lead forward planning features and represent the brand at DNA events.

An innate understanding of the Marie Claire UK brand and the ability to interpret its DNA to create compelling, shareable stories and strong evergreen content that resonates with audiences across all platforms.
Strong commissioning, writing and editing skills.
Be comfortable interviewing A-list talent.
An understanding of legal covenants and editorial guidelines in the UK and globally.
Experience working to tight deadlines under pressure.
Strong digital experience, comfortable writing and editing for the web and building content in a CMS.
A strong knowledge of SEO and social media strategy.
