If you’re looking to truly make an impact on CloserStill as a business, then we want to hear from you as we are currently looking for the next marcomms superstar to join our brand-new Communications Department as Marketing Communications Assistant.
The purpose of this role is assistant in the production and delivery of CloserStill’s internal and external communication strategy. No prior marketing experience is necessary. We are looking for the right person – someone who is friendly and approachable with emotional intelligence, cultural sensitivity, investigative and organisational skills, and an eagerness to learn. You will be a fluent English speaker with proven writing skills, ability to work highly autonomously and an interest in both marketing and business.
Responsibilities
Work with the Head of Communications, CMO and the wider team to implement the internal and external communications strategy, positioning and key messages for CloserStill Media
Execute the communication email campaign(s) and report on effectiveness and results ensuring all elements achieve required performance criteria and with messages that resonate within our workforce.
Follow the creative/design process for communication materials such as PDFs, email signatures, corporate merchandise, business card and promotional materials. This includes the update and development of existing materials plus the creation of new material in line with corporate branding and communication strategies.
Be a guardian of the corporate brand and identity of CloserStill to ensure global compliance, and guide the internal teams when needed to ensure brand guidelines are consistently used.
Draft and create clear, concise, compelling content across a range of formats – written, visual, recorded, digital and physical collateral under the guidance of Head of Communications.
Manage queries across multiple touch points including email, social, reviews, and more.
Maintain external corporate channels, such as ASP (website), GlassDoor and Indeed.
Execute the PR Strategy. Additionally, work to create/manage press lists, invite press, and consistently grow and develop media relations across all channels.
Be responsible for the growth and development of our employee database.
Create and execute a growth and community building strategy on social media that reflects positively on CloserStill. Drive engagement, interaction, brand affinity and could improve the audience experience.
Help create and promote internal events including L&D activities, global celebrations, and departmental meetings and coordinate third party suppliers and vendors where need be, including event, film production and design agencies.
Deliver video content for social media and internal circulation.
Understand the finance systems, raise POs and stick within budgets.
Report weekly and monthly on the development of communications activities. Ensure industry best practices to ensure communications efforts are effective and successful, making recommendations and adjustments as appropriate.
Attend internal and industry events, CSM shows and recruitment opportunities, ensuring to gather intel, interviews and content and report back on important updates and opportunities.
Support Head of Communications and CMO in determining and executing business development strategies.
Support leaders and working groups of business across initiatives and campaigns when required.
