Reporting to the Global Marketing CMO of Raute Corporation, this position is responsible for the localization of Raute marketing and communications, brand and awareness building as well as participating in internal communications. Production of a wide range of marketing and sales promotional content and materials as well as assisting in the creation and upkeeping of an expanded corporate website and social media channels. This role would be remotely operating in the Southern US.

The Raute Corporation is a global leader in the supply of processing equipment, technology and services to manufacturers in the engineered wood industry. Core business segments include veneer, plywood, LVL, and engineered wood solutions. Raute has several operations globally with the head office based in Finland.

ABOUT THE POSITION - Marketing & Communications Specialist

Responsibilities

Content creation to Company’s digital channels,
Executing and follow-up on marketing plans focusing on North America,
Consistent market research to use proper channels of communication,
Network with various marketing and communications companies or parties,
Develop and maintain positive relationships with media and brand partners to support brand awareness in domestic and international markets,
Assist in the research and writing of new product documentation,
Responsible on acting as one of the “lead receivers” for CRM,
Responsible on assisting on all marketing activities from events, to articles, references, digital channels, and campaigns in Canada and USA and coordinating these activities with local marketing and advertising agencies,
Influence ideal use scenarios with Sales linking end customers with engineered wood manufacturers,
Prepare communications material for web content and internal distribution,
Participating in product launches (both digital and live events),
Provide digital images and documents in Studio,
Assist the Sales and Marketing department in other projects and initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

Post-secondary diploma, preferably in marketing, communications, or journalism,
5 years’ experience in a B2B marketing and communications specializing in an industrial environment,
Experience working with an international team and independently,
A creative approach for storytelling and engagement of a global market,
Knowledgeable about social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc),
Experience with a modern CRM system is an asset, (D365, Salesforce),
Experience on marketing automation and tools within (e.g. HubSpot),
Forestry industry knowledge is an asset,
Native English language with good writing and verbal communication skills,
Must be able to travel internationally.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
