SWBC is seeking a talented individual to be responsible for executing the content marketing strategy set by SWBC’s marketing management team. This role is also responsible for writing clear, accurate, and compelling content to promote company products, services, and overall brand by developing various content types.

Essential duties include the following:

Creates clear, accurate, and compelling content to include (but not limited to) blog content, eBooks, case studies, email, advertising, brochure, video, web, and social media copy.
Conducts research and/or obtains self-led training by reading trade publications, online articles, and attending conferences or seminars to stay up-to-date on industry trends and gain additional marketing content development knowledge.
Assists with copy editing as requested by management team.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Communications, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university required.
Minimum of (3) three years of experience writing for a B2B audience and experience producing strategy-driven marketing content.
Strong understanding of the financial services industry is preferred.
Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent multi-tasking and listening skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Able to quickly grasp complex topics.
Able to creatively and accurately write to different audience segments with varying degrees of industry knowledge.
Able to use basic office equipment, including copy machine, personal computer, and fax.
Able to type 35 WPM.
Able to travel locally or nationally by car or plane.
Able to sit for long periods of time performing sedentary activities.
Able to stand, stoop, and kneel to file for long periods of time.
Able to push, pull, and lift up to 20 lbs. of files, supplies, documents, or other related items.
