Suffolk's Office of Marketing & Communications (OMC), part of the University's Division of Communication which also includes the Office of Public Affairs (OPA), is seeking an experienced, creative, and versatile marketing writer/editor to join our team of marketing and brand strategists, storytellers, designers, and multimedia producers. The work of the Division is to drive and support Suffolk's brand vision and strategic institutional goals, telling the story of the University across a range of audiences and media producing everything from web and social content to marketing collateral and advertising; videos to news and feature pieces.
Summary Of Position
As a member of the OMC team, the Writer/Editor will collaborate with creative
(design, editorial, photo, and video), interactive (web and social)
and strategic colleagues as well as faculty and administrators from all three schools and across the University to
develop effective marketing
communications for all channels. The Writer/Editor will craft and edit content designed to inform, influence, and inspire a broad range of audiences including
prospective and current students and families, influencers, faculty and staff, the Boston community, and alumni.
The successful candidate will be eager to understand our unique audiences and be able to deliver engaging, targeted content that maximizes response.
