Reporter

MediaNews Group is the parent company for the Lansdale Reporter and Montgomery Media. We offer local news and information websites and mobile apps offering rich multimedia experiences across the nation. This position will be about 24 hours, flexible depending on assignments. Will include some nights and weekends. Location is hybrid -- a lot of the work can be done from home via phone/streaming. The Lansdale Reporter/Montgomery Media is looking for a part-time, creative and ambitious reporter to cover the Souderton area and surrounding towns in Montgomery/Bucks counties for our daily and weekly print and online editions. The candidate should have strong reporting, writing, organizational and interpersonal skills, be able to take photos and work within a team. A knowledge of social media is essential. The ability to meet deadlines is a must. Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
