The reporter will cover Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, Universal Studios Hollywood, Knott's Berry Farm and Six Flags Magic Mountain primarily, with occasional coverage of Sea World San Diego and California Legoland. Theme park news is among the most-read coverage on our digital platforms and we are seeking a reporter who will engage this sizable audience by producing a large volume of posts. The beat comes with a dedicated twice-weekly newsletter with a large subscriber base. Southern California's theme parks are rebounding from the pandemic, before which 45 million people visited local parks annually. We're looking for a reporter to cover the parks from the perspective of these fans, alerting them to upcoming attractions and events, reporting on price increases, changes to capacity limits and other developments, chronicling ride breakdowns or other disruptions and also keeping an eye on park safety.
