As an intern within the Publications division, you will work closely with clients and world-renowned opinion leaders to produce publications that communicate key scientific and clinical data to a wide audience. Project will include the development of abstracts and manuscripts, as well as posters and oral presentations for large international congresses. In addition, you may have the chance to work on regulatory documents, lay summaries and policy-related publications. Interns receive one-to-one training on the technical aspects of the role and learn about project management and effective communication with clients. You will also learn about good publication practice and strategic publication planning. This role is for those looking to apply their scientific writing and creative skills to deliver high-impact publication projects to a wide range of clients.
The Difference Between our Medical Writer Internship and our Analyst/Medical Writer Internship
Our Medical Writer Interns will be based within our Publications division only, with the duration of their internship focusing on Publications projects. If you have an interest in working with our other divisions, our Analyst/Medical Writer Internship may be for you. As an Analyst/Medical Writer, you will likely work across two divisions for the duration of the internship. Therefore, you may work on Publications projects for half of your time during your internship, as opposed to full-time during the Medical Writer Internship. Please note that, for the Analyst/Medical Writer Internship, your division(s) would be confirmed closer to your start date and, whilst every effort will be made to consider your divisional preference, this will be subject to business need and project availability.
