Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal is looking for a competitive, resourceful reporter to cover Minnesota's robust banking and finance ecosystem, which includes the national headquarters for U.S. Bancorp, a large regional hub for Wells Fargo and several substantial local and regional players. This reporter will also cover the Twin Cities' largest professional-services firms, particularly law, accounting, executive search and consulting firms, and sports business, with particular focus on the business of golf and private clubs. This combination of coverage areas is the essence of top-level reporting. It requires building — and working — strong source networks to uncover stories before anyone else and tell our readers why these stories are important.
