Minnesota Farm Guide is looking for a well-rounded journalist, with a flair for good writing and photography skills. We want a news hound who thrives on current happenings in farming and ranching, a rural storyteller comfortable in small towns and on gravel roads. In this full-time position you will provide articles and photography on a variety of agricultural and rural life issues in Minnesota. As part of a group of nine ag publications that make up Lee Agri-Media, you’ll join a team of reporters and editors across the Midwest. We love telling the stories of the people who produce our nation’s food, fiber, and fuel. You’ll be free to explore your interests as you find stories throughout our coverage area. Are you tuned into the latest tech? Keeping an eye on environmental impacts? Do you enjoy meeting amazing kids in 4-H and FFA? There are stories out there to suit any interest. This is a remote position. Travel within the state, as well as eastern North Dakota will be required. Candidates should be self-motivated, with a genuine interest in the issues facing agriculture.
