MLex Senior Correspondent, Financial Services, Brussels

You will write about a broad range of EU regulations concerning the financial services industry including prudential regulation of banks and insurers, green finance, money laundering, investor protection, digital currencies and other fintech applications. Writing for an influential audience of executives, lawyers, consultants and policymakers, you will be expected to keep on top of major developments, deliver exclusive stories, and produce sophisticated commentary and analysis. You will work closely with a senior FS reporter based in London, jointly deciding on coverage priorities and handling cross-border stories such as post-Brexit equivalence. There will also be occasions to collaborate with colleagues in Asia and the Americas, and with those covering other beats such as climate, financial crime and antitrust.
