Reporter/Researcher

International regulatory news service MLex Market Insight is seeking a full-time reporter/researcher for its Washington, DC bureau. Duties primarily involve a high level of research and editorial support for journalists, including reporting and writing. This entry-level position is ideally suited for a conscientious self-starter who has excellent organizational skills and enjoys a fast-paced news setting.

An MLex reporter/researcher must be able to:

Locate and organize relevant information from public documents and other sources
Write one-paragraph summaries identifying key information in those documents
Create and modify case files with relevant information
Coordinate with reporters and editors to ensure that case portfolios are complete
Assist reporters in news coverage
