Advertisers can no longer rely on banner ads, lining the sides of articles, to share their messages with readers. More and more, they are instead turning to publishers to help them produce high-quality content that grabs the attention of prospective clients to generate awareness, interest and leads. Money-Media’s success in developing and executing on such projects has helped grow our sponsored content business in recent years and expand our team. This newly-created role developing and delivering sponsored content initiatives includes writing articles, conducting interviews, editing client-submitted articles, and overseeing the sponsored webcast process (leading client calls, organizing content, finding panelists, etc.). The producer will also assist the Director of Sponsored Content in working with the advertising sales team in the client acquisition process. Content created for Money-Media’s audiences is distinctive in its specificity. Sponsors bring a particular perspective and often want to reach key executives and decision makers within our niche audiences. As such, the producer will need bring an eagerness to dive deep into the nuances of the asset management and insurance industries and the differences between the various audiences we serve.
