We're looking for a Deputy Editor to be responsible for planning and delivery of content for MoneyWeek.com. MoneyWeek is one of the fastest growing finance publications in the UK and this is an exciting time to join the team.

What you’ll be doing…

As Deputy Digital Editor, you'll support the Senior Digital Editor in planning content, editing, drafting our daily newsletters, and delivering relevant content. This includes writing and commissioning news and features, editing content so that it's ready for publishing in the correct format and tone, contributing to the news agenda each day, and staying on top of the latest news and ensure we are also keeping evergreen content up-to-date.

You'll work closely with the editor to meet the team’s objectives and targets, compile and build our daily newsletters and stand in for the Senior Digital Editor when needed.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…

Comfortable writing about personal finance, pensions, investments and property, and explaining these topics in plain English to help readers make the most of their money.
A strong interest and understanding of the investment and personal finance sector.
Experience in editing.
Experience using a CMS.
An ability to deliver high-quality content quickly and efficiently, with a relentless approach to delivery and an eye for detail.
Understand great web user experience so our users can easily action any tips we bring in our articles, whether that's to find the right link to apply for a product or how to use an in-house calculator with ease.
A familiarity with SEO best practices and analytics-driven content strategy.
Understand and embrace social media and other evolving digital platforms.

The expected range for this role is £29,000 - £40,000.
