What you'll be doing…
We're looking for a web writer with a keen interest in and knowledge of investing and personal finance, to help us create more content, come up with ideas, update our existing content to keep it “evergreen”, monitor the topics that are driving traffic, optimise new and existing content and set up our daily newsletter. The online writer will cover both the US and the UK market.
We’re looking for a writer who is comfortable writing about personal finance, pensions, investments and property, and explaining these topics in plain English to help them make the most of their money. You'll also be covering news.
In the longer run there’s a great deal of scope to shape the role according to your skills, and to develop your own profile as a writer.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…
A strong interest in and understanding of the investment and personal finance sector.
An ability to deliver high-quality content quickly and efficiently, with a relentless approach to delivery and an eye for detail.
An ability to write through different lenses for various audiences adapting tone and writing style to fit with a variety of brands.
Applicants should feel comfortable analysing the intricate nature of financial products to be able to help readers understand the best deals for them.
You'll also have a key focus on great web user experience so our users can easily action any tips we bring in our articles, whether that's to find the right link to apply for a product or how to use an in-house calculator with ease.
You'll work with the audience team at Future to ensure we're always answering the public’s key questions around personal finance.
A familiarity with SEO best practices and analytics-driven content strategy.
Understand and embrace social media and other evolving digital platforms.
