Technical Writer

Our client, a leader in creating immersive audio and visual experiences, is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. This is a remote position and will support CST/EST hours.

*This is a 5 Month W2 Contract with benefits*

As the Technical Writer, you will use your knowledge of XML, Jira, DITA, and other tools to curate, generate, and refine user-centric content. You will prioritize multiple projects and use agile methodologies to ensure content aligns with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

Create comprehensive technical writing
Foster continuous improvement by interpreting and refining practices to enhance the user-focused content.
Exhibit expertise in curating, generating, editing, and iterating content using tools and standards of XML
Set, manage, and fulfill priorities for 2-3 projects at a time

Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Technical Communication, Information Design, or related field
5+ years of experience in user-focused technical content creation
Proficient in XML, Jira, and other relevant tools
Experience in audio or visual industry preferred
