Job Summary

This person has the ability to write and edit copy for cross-channel assets, including print, digital, email, app, and social. The right candidate will be able to deliver engaging, focused, accurate copy for a wide variety of projects; own assignments from concept to initial draft to deployment with oversight/input from leadership; respond quickly and accurately to requested revisions; and participate, with oversight, in the evolution of our brand voice.

Job Duties

Research and gather information about products, competitors, and cultural and fashion trends.
Write clear, concise, engaging copy for marketing, editorial, and seasonal campaigns.
Self-edit and proof to ensure information is factually and grammatically correct and, most importantly, on brand.
Develop productive, collaborative partnerships with creative teams, fellow writers, marketing teams, and merchants.
Attend creative planning and strategy meetings and stay up to date on trends in luxury fashion, news, pop culture, beauty, and home to better inform writing projects.
Respond to and accurately execute revisions as requested from multiple layers of leadership.
Work with internal teams to ensure copy is delivered consistently across channels.

Job Requirements

Minimum three years’ experience writing editorial copy for websites and/or print marketing.
Bachelor’s degree with major or minor in advertising, marketing, journalism, or English, or commensurate professional experience in those fields.
Clear and concise written and oral communication skills.
Positive, enthusiastic, can-do attitude.
Ability to write quickly, accurately, and creatively under pressure.
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Ability to adapt to change and make last-minute revisions based on business needs and direction.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft 365 a plus.
