News Reporter

Tigard Life/Tualatin Life is currently hiring for an experienced Reporter (minimum 1-year professional experience). Although we're currently hiring for a P/T, flexible schedule position, this could easily turn into a full-time position and potentially a managing editor position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

We report on a wide variety of news items, city council, schools, human interest, business, local events, sports, restaurant reviews, etc. Plenty of room to let you focus on your specialty or expand your horizons.

Qualifications

We generally look for a Journalism degree and at least one year of proven professional experience. But ultimately, we're looking for an amazing portfolio of written pieces.
