News Reporter/Writer

The North Gwinnett Voice, a local newspaper based in Buford, Ga, is looking for dedicated and talented general assignment reporters.

The ideal candidate would have strong research and writing skills and be familiar using AP style guide

Job responsibilities include:

Finding and collecting information about news stories, either by conducting interviews, attending events, or researching online.

Writing high-quality content that is engaging, informative, and accurate.

Effectively use online platforms to inform and interact with readers.

Experience preferred but not required.

Indesign and Wordpress experience a plus

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
