The Impartial Reporter is looking for a Reporter to join its award-winning team.
For almost 200 years, The Impartial Reporter has been setting the news agenda in Fermanagh, South Tyrone and the Border region – holding those in power to account. Now an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious journalist to join us.
This is a crucial time for journalism in our area. As our community faces immense challenges, it has never been more important to be a voice for those in need.
So, we are now looking for a Reporter who can break original, agenda-setting stories and shine a spotlight on important social issues.
We are looking for an experienced reporter with a track record in delivering strong human-interest stories and investigations and experience covering Court and Council.
You will also have an understanding of how to write for our ever-growing digital audience, and how to use social media and multimedia, including video and audio to reach audiences. A full driving licence and access to a car is essential.
The Impartial Reporter has recently relaunched and now has a fresher, more contemporary look – but at our heart is journalism you can trust.
This is your chance to play a part in writing the next chapter of our history.
If this sounds like the job for you, email your CV, a brief cover letter and examples of your published work by November 24, 2023.
