Part-time Production Tech

The part-time production technician operates various equipment (camera, audio, video, graphics, lighting, or digital) used for production and/or transmission.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the director and studio staff to coordinate the action in the studio or while out on location
Daily tasks may include: floor directing, teleprompter, studio and set maintenance, audio operation, guest and talent management, camera operation for live or recorded segments, video editing
Maintains and stores equipment
Other duties as assigned

Key traits & competencies:

High School Diploma Required
Excellent attendance
Experience in television, film or post-production preferred
Excellent communication and organization skills
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to handle high stress environment with deadline pressures
Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Must be able to work any shift.
