POSITION CONTENT Writing (corporate communications, press releases, copywriting for print and web etc. Research (data gathering for quotes, reports, statistics, trends, etc. Social media management (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) Media pitching Public speaking Editing copy Brainstorming marketing ideas Crafting branding messages and assisting in marketing campaign creation Assists in created promotional materials for NEXT s advisor training program, ELITE Ability Marketing channel management, knowledge to recommend appropriate marketing channels based on campaigns Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS DESIRED Must have a four-year degree in public relations, communications, marketing or related field Must have excellent writing and communication skills Ability to work under pressure and use creative thinking to develop marketing materials Proficient in MS Word and AP Style Must be detail-oriented and highly organized Comfortable pitching to media contacts Team-oriented Independent worker with minimal supervision
