Reporter, Sunday Issue (Tues-Sat)

The New York Post is seeking a Reporter (Tues-Sat, day shift) who wants a seat at the smorgasbord we call the Sunday New York Post!

We like fun and fearless generalists who can advance continuing national stories and generate new ones; investigators who live to unmask the corrupt; and tough reporters to cover every aspect of a tough city (don’t be shy about your specialties).

Responsibilities include:

Quickly writing clear, concise copy on national and local news
Delivering long and short form journalism in the boldest tabloid voice
Spotting a potentially viral story and quickly turn it into a great read
Adhering to the Post’s signature style

The ideal candidate will have/be:

5+ years of relevant experience covering news on the local or national level
Experience working in a fast paced news environment
Strong news gathering skills and experience with social media platforms in order to quickly confirm information during live news events
Digital production experience preferred

Note: NY Post adheres to a hybrid work model.

Salary Range: $31,200 – $125,000
