This beat reporter will be given ample latitude to pursue stories that deliver exclusive scoops and unique insights into the financial industry and the deals and big personalities that drive it. The focus will be on scoops of interest not only to Wall Street insiders but also to a national and global audience.

Qualifications and Requirements:

A talent for cultivating high-level sources in the industry is a must
The successful candidate also will demonstrate an ability to write quick, clean and entertaining copy that's informed by keen news judgement
An ability to work cooperatively with other journalists in a face-paced newsroom also is essential
At least three years of experience at a major news outlet is preferred, as is a background in reporting on business
