Your Role

We are seeking a talented and creative Copywriter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to craft compelling, conversion-driven copy that resonates with our target audience. Reporting to the Copy Manager of Brand & Creative, the Copywriter will play a key role in developing content for various marketing channels, including digital, print, social media, and more.

Responsibilities and Duties

Support the Copy Manager of Brand & Creative and execute creative, conversion-driven copy concepts for website copy, email campaigns, and other marketing materials
Work with the Social Media Manager to help develop & execute social media content and campaigns.
Collaborate with the Copy Manager and marketing team to brainstorm ideas and develop messaging strategies that align with the company's brand voice and objectives
Conduct research to understand target audience demographics, preferences, and behaviors, and tailor messaging accordingly
Write impactful, concise, and engaging copy that effectively communicates key messages and drives desired actions
Proofread and edit blog articles and asset copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve copywriting skills and strategies
Work closely with designers, photographers, and other creative professionals to develop integrated marketing campaigns that deliver impactful storytelling across multiple channels

Qualifications and Skills

3+ years of experience in copywriting, preferably in a marketing or advertising agency setting
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail
Proven ability to craft compelling copy that resonates with target audiences and drives desired outcomes
Solid understanding of branding principles, marketing strategies, and consumer behavior
Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and translate them into actionable content
Excited to work in a collaborative office setting 4 days a week

Hours and Compensation

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $80,000 - $100,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and local market rates.

Position will be based out of Santa Monica, Los Angeles - in person (Mon-Thurs in office/Friday remote)
