Senior Investigative Editor Asia

OCCRP is seeking to hire a senior investigative editor to join its team of cross-border investigative journalists and editors. The editor will be expected to commission, manage, and help produce high-quality investigations that have a real-world impact and directly address the scourge of organized crime and corruption on the continent. Critically, the person should be familiar with the high standards of OCCRP. The editor will be based in Asia and be a citizen or permanent resident of a country in Asia. He or she will liaise closely with OCCRP editors and journalists around the world. We are looking for a solid, proven investigative editor who is fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese, and who can work efficiently with our partners and independent journalists in Asia. The ideal candidate will have experience in investigative reporting and some experience in editing and managing teams. He or she will be responsible for developing cross-border investigative stories.
