Orlando Real Writer

Are you an Orlando enthusiast who has a passion for writing? We are looking for an individual who can write about anything from local theme parks and events, to new communities opening up in and around the Central Florida area.

Your job will be to write articles about a variety of local happenings and locations, both through research and given topics. These will be used for our website The Orlando Real, and will also be shared through the TOR Instagram page.

*Those who are willing to travel to the locations to write about each given topic (restaurants, grand openings, etc) are preferred, and required depending on the type of article.

Responsibilities

Submit 1-2 articles weekly
Travel to various locations around Orlando to get the best story/personal experience
Take pictures and/or video to include with each article (will depend on the topic)

Qualifications

Majored in Journalism, or have experience writing for a blog or website
Must be located in the Orlando area
