About the role
Seeking dedicated writers to create ghostwritten travel blogs for our websites. Ideal candidate will be able to assume the persona of our reporter, writing travel recaps, reviews, and other content in their voice.
Example topics could include:
Best Restaurants in Melbourne
10 Hidden Gems You Must Visit in California
Surfing with Giants: My Adventures with the Whales of Tofino
Please note that you will not actually be traveling to these places, so strong research skills are essential. Ideal candidate will be a strong storyteller, able to paint a vivid picture even without first-person experience.
Candidates will also be asked to write igaming articles — mainly casino reviews. Previous experience in casinos and igaming is greatly preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Create 5-10 travel articles (between 1-2k words each) per week and write casino review articles as needed
Maintain a consistent tone across all articles
Write in a personable yet professional tone, consistent with a travel reporter at a major publication
Respond to communications in a timely manner (within 1 business day)
Handle all necessary ClickUp tasks needed to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
Requirements:
2-3 years content writing experience (travel background preferred)
Familiarity with AP style
C2-level American English (native speaker preferred)
Proficiency with Google suite and Slack
