In this role, you will be on the ground floor of an incredible tech startup. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role in an entrepreneurial enviornment. You should be comfortable operating with ambiguity, competing priorities, and a high degree of agility. You’ll be working with the Director of Marketing to drive thought leadership, awareness, and demand generation through the development of compelling, easy-to-understand content. While you’ll be working with a leading-edge technology, you’ll focus on storytelling that focuses on simplicity, the end customer—and how this technology changes the way people live, work—and redefines the way the world can use and consume data. Expect to collaborate with our marketing team, marketing partners, inside sales, business development, and product teams.
This remote position can be located in any US state, preferably the Continental US.
Estimated hours per week: 20.
What you’ll do:
Recommend and execute content ideas in support of driving brand awareness and consideration.
Build high-quality content to drive awareness, thought leadership, and showcase business value through simple, engaging, and clear messaging of our products, solutions, partners, and customers through formats such as: industry use cases, solution briefs, whitepapers, customer case studies, press releases, blogs, partner enablement material, prospecting campaign collateral, and more.
Be willing to dive in and familiarize yourself with various industries and partners to help script relevant narratives to showcase business value tailored to specific audiences.
Collaborate with marketing to build event messaging for hosted (such as small executive events) or third-party sponsorships (such as tradeshows).
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or relevant work experience.
(Ideally) Experience in a technology field (we play across networking, storage, compute, cloud, edge, etc.)—or willingness to develop a functional fluency in the space.
2+ years work experience.
Fantastic reading and writing skills, including simplifying complex concepts into compelling messages and content focused on business outcomes.
Ability to bridge between strategic thinking and tactical execution across multiple projects.
Attention to detail and grammar (including potential appreciation for the Oxford comma).
Ability to work independently (with guidance), think creatively, and problem solve.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
