The Editorial Content & Social Media Manager will work within PayPal’s Global Content, Communications and Engagement team and across Corporate Affairs and Growth Marketing to innovate the ways in which we engage in the digital era. This role will be critical in helping strategize content distribution and engagement with journalists, media, investors, influencers, consumers and merchants. In this position, the Editorial Content & Social Media Manager will help institutionalize content creation and publishing as a core engine of our communications and marketing mix. In addition, the role will manage PayPal’s Corporate Newsroom on a day-to-day basis, support the Global Editorial Board and oversee content publishing for PayPal’s communication owned social media channels, including Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. The Editorial Content & Social Media Manager will be responsible for fostering a true content community across PayPal’s external channels. They will help run a best in class Corporate Newsroom and look at all the ways to make meaningful connections though storytelling with our key audiences. This individual will report directly to the Global Content Editorial Director, who is based in San Jose, and will work closely with the Global Social Media, Leadership Communications, Brand Communications, Employee Communications, Product Communications, Creative Lab and Growth Marketing teams.
