Responsibilities
We are searching for a talented Senior Technical Editor/Writer to become part of Peraton's Agile Cybersecurity Technical Solutions organization. This position will be based in Arlington, Virginia.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
The person filling this role would be responsible for:
Participates in developing and writes a variety of technical, reports, software User manuals, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses
Responsible for reviewing content of technical documentation for quality and produces technical illustrations for presentations and/or publication, as appropriate to the requirements
Coordinates the display of graphics and the production of the document
Maintaining Service Catalog
Ensuring content is of high quality and conforms with standards.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with twelve or more (12+) years of related experience, Master's degree with ten or more (10+) years of related experience
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
An active Top Secret Security Clearance.
5 years of experience working with SAFeĀ® Agile Release Trains/agile teams in support of written technical artifacts
Experience in leading, analyzing, and performing technical review and communications on triage of questions, issues, or events involving the nation's infrastructure and environments
10 years of experience leading and writing documentation in support of RFIs, RFCs and new TOs
Has SAFe 6.0 Agilist (SA) certification
Prior cyber security/ IT security professional experience as a technical writer/editor
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with final reviews of proposed publications and other collateral material using both print and electronic media including the web and desktop publishing software for style, design, layout, and editorial aspects before government approval.
Experience gathering necessary information from Program personnel, other DHS employees, and applicable policy, regulations, and best practices to support the Government in developing, writing, formatting, and editing technical and non-technical information for reports, manuals, procedures, processes, briefs, and other forms of documentation.
Experience implementing updates to maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to carry out detailed customer functions.
Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
