Role Description

mediabrief is hiring a freelance Pharma News Editor to start in January 2024. This remote position requires 3-hour shifts per day, including early mornings from 06:30-08:30. There is a rota system in place, which offers some flexibility on choosing days.

The role involves producing high-quality news reports on the pharmaceutical industry based on monitoring global media sources. Ideal candidates should have strong writing skills, the ability to create accurate and reliable copy under tight deadlines, and familiarity with current issues in the pharmaceutical sector.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in news reporting or editing or public relations, specifically in the pharmaceutical industry.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Ability to write compelling and accurate news content on tight deadlines.
Familiarity with current events related to the pharmaceutical industry and the ability to identify trends and emerging issues.
Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
Ability to work independently and as part of the wider team, remotely.
